Stanbet Holding

Stanbet was formed in 1989 as the Russia’s first joint-venture with the Americans. From 1995 Stanbet became an all-Russian company.

Stanbet includes:

  • Stanbet Sport agency which, ending the State Sports Committee’s longtime monopoly, established direct contracts with Western producers thus introducing to the world such brilliant Russian athletes as tennis master Andrei Chesnokov and ice hockey supremos Vyacheslav Fetisov and Valery Kasatonov;

  • Stanbet Trading joint venture with America’s number one Atwood Richards Inc. trading and barter company;

  • Stanbet Publishing, which has turned out a two-volume catalogue of Russian business, Russian art and photo catalogs, magazines, original catalogue of Russian cinematography of XX century, etc.  Stanbet Publishing’s products were on display at the 2003 International Book fair in Frankfurt-on-Main;

  • Stanbet Gallery – a showcase of modern painting and applied art and photography boasting more than 700 works by Russia’s premiere artists. Stanbet Gallery has repeatedly displayed its collection at Moscow’s Art-Manezh Center, the Central House of Artists and other galleries in Moscow and abroad (Waldorf Astoria etc.).

  • Stanbet Development (real estate) – a joint venture with one of America’s biggest company in the business, Fuller Development. The list of the two companies’ cumulative efforts includes, among other things, Sony Pace Amphitheatre in US, the projected construction of the Russia Tower for the Moscow City business district.  Alongside its traditional work as an urban developer, Stanbet is also active in the construction of country retreats, like the business club it designed and built for the YUKOS Oil Company at Zhukovka just outside Moscow, apartment houses in Moscow, renovation of the “October” movie theater etc.
